Congress has begun

So what's in store for today?

After waiting for what seems forever, Congress has begun -Yippee! I am also happy to see there are other attendees who are as excited as I am.

Thursday 26th March we made our way to the convention centre to check in and collect our goodie bags. The process was well organised and in no time at all I was marked off and investigating my goodies. I'm impressed with the quality of the bags and who doesn't love receiving unexpected bits and bobs? It's like Christmas!

As a member of "Kiva - Genealogists for Families" I was also fortunate enough to receive a beautiful blue ribbon organised by Pauleen Cass and Robert - Thank you 😊 (and a Queenslander one too).

In addition I also received some lovely blogger beads from Jill Ball, I am elated to be included in this elite group, although I still feel undeserved as I am still dabbling with this blogging thing, but thank you also 😀

It was a pleasure to meet the likes of Jill Ball, Jan Gow, Jenny Joyce, Shauna Hicks & Fran Kitto, all of whom I have seen previously only online or from a distance at other events. Jill's enthusiasm is infectious.

Roll on to Friday 27th -The first day of seminars/lectures.
